Tour log day 14 of 25

||||Note, I should have started this on day one, but I didn't I'm going to start at a more then halfway point||||

:: What went down on days 1 - 13::
          --Played in Austin 
          --Stayed at our Tour Manager's brothers house, and I am pretty sure he is a drug dealer
          --Left Austin and went up to Dallas and played a big festival
          --Left Dallas, played shows in Louisiana and Jacksonville, Florida 
          --Chilled in Orlando for a few days, stayed with another one of our TM's brothers
                    watched a lot of Star Wars and Back to the Future.
          --Went to Tennessee and stayed at a Tattoo Shop, our TM and Drummer got some tattoos done
          --Went from Tennessee to North Carolina Stayed at this 3 story mansion for a few days and did   some
                     interviews for that girl interviews



Now that brings us to the present. At the moment currently getting packed up to go to New York City. We have a decent showcase set up there so it should be pretty interesting. The last half of the tour kinda stinks because we no longer have any days until we get home. Hopefully New York will treat us well, and hopefully we will find a place to stay while we are there. Off to my 9 hour drive!

Call of duty 4 : Galactic Warfare Mod

I think this is just epic. Been a fair of Star Wars since I was 5.
I'm not sure what they have been doing with the SW: Battlefront  series lately,

but this is really what it should have been. Sure this is just COD4 reskinned but it shows

where the Battlefront games could do.

Futuristic guitars and basses

The trend has mostly been about having older looking guitars and basses, even to go as far as using tools to damage the paint and make them look even older. Personally I like more futuristic looking ones. Know I personally wouldn't use a Yamaha but this RBX5-a2 is a good example

Tacos y Mas

Alright so the first Taco Place I am going to review is Tacos y Mas (thats tacos and more for you non Spanish speaking people)  So I wasn't very interested in the 'mas' part but I more interested in the taco part. This place is Located in East Dallas. Right off I-30 at the intersection of Winslow and Samuel. I'm not sure if it is still called Tacos y Mas, It used to be. Now it just says tacos. So anyways I get to the place and I go to order I got the three taco plate. I chose Al Pastor for the meat (personal favorite of mine). It came with rice and beans and a can of coke. Cost was $8. It felt kind of pricey but I'd back up to $10 for some really good tacos. So I get home and look at my food. 
I was really disappointed. I'm not sure what kind of meat I got but it wasn't al pastor. I know my tacos, trust me. This meat was all dry and clingy. There was no sign of pineapple. I almost didn't eat it but I wasn't going to waste $8. So I ate the tacos. I enjoy salsa, they gave me some green chili salsa in a little container. The salsa wasn't even hot. I could drink it straight and not be effected. Again disappointing. I took one bite of the rice and didn't bother with the rest. The beans were actually the best part of the meal. That's the really sad part about all this. Now I have ate at the place before, and it used to be pretty decent(and cheaper), and I also ate there two more times just to make sure it wasn't some off day or something. But alas apparently they are under some kind of new management and their quality has gone WAAAY down.

So my advice. Don't even bother with this place it is not even worth the try.

So apparently there is some confusion on what this blog is about. (mostly from my girlfriend) As the name states it is mostly going to be about Music, video games and tacos. But if I really don't feel like posting about any of the three or if I feel like posting about something else. I'm gonna because that is how I roll, if you don't like it, then you don't have to read it. Also I make grammar/spelling mistakes, I am aware. I don't want to hear about it.

Now if you are still here we can all have open minds, have a few laughs, share a cry or two, and maybe even loose 5 pounds.
